The Melody of Our Reunion

Eve Torres teaches music. She takes the job in the Murillo house, private lessons for a girl the family has only recently found, and the man who hires her is Nathan Murillo. Five years earlier Eve was a student at Johaven Music School. She got pregnant after one night with him, and while she was working as a backup singer, covering vocals for a star, her water broke backstage and she gave birth early to a daughter, Daisy. Nathan left a jade pendant and a promise to come back for her, then disappeared. Eve stopped performing and raised Daisy alone. Before the job, Mrs. Murillo crossed paths with Daisy by chance and thought the girl looked like family. A DNA test confirmed Daisy was Nathan's, and the Murillos began searching for the mother and child. Daisy spends money on a bank card her grandmother gave her, and Nathan tries to trace the transaction without finding her. When Eve brings Daisy to return the card, she proposes a children's singing contest. During the contest Linh Nhac, out of jealousy, cuts the lights. Daisy is afraid of the dark and goes into shock. Nathan reaches her in time, and up close he sees her face.
