The Expiration of Love
Synopsis
Shirley Sue went into early labor with her second child—but her entire family was at her younger sister's concert. Her mother-in-law's voice crackled through the receiver, dripping with disdain: "Must you interrupt the concert? Handle it yourself." A childish giggle in the background. "Mommy's so needy!" His voice, sweet as poisoned honey. "I like Auntie better. She never ruins fun things. I wish she were my mom." Silence from her husband. Then the click of disconnection. "We'll deal with this later." As if childbirth adhered to concert schedules. The final thread snapped. All those years of bending—the perfect daughter-in-law, the patient wife, the selfless mother—dissolved like mist. What remained was crystalline clarity: the feelings were never mutual. Now her life belongs solely to herself. Her husband and son? Mere obstacles to her career.

Ratings & Reviews

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<
