High School Boy

Hong Iltak went through puberty later than the other boys at Daemun Boys' High School and stayed smaller than them. Kim Hyeongju picked on him for it and kept at it. To get out from under that, Iltak went to Lee Hyunwoo, who had more pull than anyone else at the school. Hyunwoo's responses did not line up with what Iltak was doing, and the two of them read each other wrong more than once. They were close for stretches and then not, and something else started building in the gaps. Kim Hyeongju watched this happen, got jealous and made the bullying worse. Rumors went around the school and people looked at Iltak differently, and he went on approaching Hyunwoo anyway. Neither of them said what he actually felt, so the thing between them stayed where it was.
