Sovereign's Dominance

Cillian held the rank of High Lord and spent a long stretch inside the Nine Realms keeping them stable. He worked out a method that would hold them steady for good, and then he entered the cycle of reincarnation, which left an opening for Aion to get in. The reincarnation took his memory for a period. During that period a man and a woman came at him at his own door. His strength had not come back yet and the man wounded him. His sister put herself in the way, and his father fought to keep the two of them off. Cillian recovered a million years of memory after that, and his power came back higher than it had ever been. The man was about to kill his sister when Cillian stepped in, in front of everyone standing there. In the world of the Human Emperors he laid out a plan that drew Aion into an alliance with powerful enemies from outside, and he started up the Heavenly Stair.
