Get out, You Substitute Bride!

Noah Walker is the pampered heir of a wealthy family, and Emma Clark is a poor student he takes up with because her dimple, when she smiles, looks like the dimple of Sophia Lee, the woman he loved and lost. Emma reads his attention as love. She asks him to let her carry a child by Gabriel, the boy she grew up with, and she demands the shares of his company be signed over to her. She kills the dog Sophia left behind, and she goes after the beads Sophia left too. Noah absorbs all of it for the sake of that one dimple. Then Emma has surgery on her face and the dimple is gone, and he stops absorbing it.
