A Prankster's Rise to Favorite

Paige Morgan wants her daughters back. She is a modern woman who was in an accident on a blind date and woke in a famine year, in the body of a mother known for treating her daughters badly, with no money and no food in the house. A question-and-answer system attaches itself to her and pays out grain and cash for correct answers. With that she gets Amanda's school place returned to her, keeps Nicole from being sold, and helps Jessica marry the man she loves. Once the household is doing well the system pulls Paige back to the present day, where the daughters are now a business magnate and a figure in academia, and the family comes back together.
