Wedding Continues, New Groom Coming

On her wedding day the groom, Yu Siyuan, walked out of the ceremony, because her close friend Lü Yi had threatened her own life to get him to come. Ming Rong stayed at the front of the room and proposed to Yu Tang, the head of the Yu family and the man who raised Yu Siyuan, and the two of them married on the spot. Yu Tang put a house and a bracelet in her name and made it public that she was the woman of the household. Her feelings for him became real over the months that followed. Yu Siyuan worked out that his fiancée was now his stepmother and kept picking fights about it. He and Lü Yi disrupted a banquet, and Yu Tang took his inheritance rights away from him. Lü Yi then said she was pregnant and used it against Ming Rong, who turned out to be pregnant herself. There had been talk for years that Yu Tang could not father a child, and a DNA test put an end to it.
