Synopsis

Ruan Nianchu promised five years of protection to Luo Huaijing, the younger brother of the boyfriend who died saving her. Luo mistakes her devotion—including the hundred humiliating demands she fulfills for the woman he loves—for proof that she will never leave him. When the five-year debt is paid, Ruan returns to the bridge where her boyfriend died and follows him into the sea, leaving Luo to understand his feelings only after she is gone.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
