Synopsis

Li Nian, a cheongsam designer, is forced into a political marriage to save her adoptive father. Jin Yanshen seeks revenge against her due to a misunderstanding, yet protects her when her fiancé humiliates her. The two become entangled in love and hate, while the truth behind their past breakup gradually comes to light. Li Huan, the villain, frames Li Nian repeatedly. Jin Yanshen destroys the Li family for love. Finally, the misunderstanding between them is cleared, they reconcile, and walk toward happiness together.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
