Synopsis

Raymond Hawke, CEO of Zenith Group, is enraged when his old friend's children throw a raucous "happy funeral" to scam money instead of mourning. Armed with the power of Hawke Corp and family rules, Raymond punishes the unfilial children with three lashes for ingratitude, forgetting their parents, and the sorrow of devoted parents. The story flashes back three years to when Raymond, then over fifty, met the kind-hearted Eva Brooks, who cared for him faithfully for three years while he was in a coma, leading to a quiet, late-life romance.

You Are My Antidote

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
