Synopsis

In 1948, Third Field Army officers infiltrate Nanjing and join underground Communist operatives to protect intelligence, factories, supplies, and key personnel while weakening Nationalist morale. Their conversion of a garrison commander becomes a decisive success, helping prepare victory in the Yangtze River Crossing Campaign and the liberation that follows.
