Phoenix's Homecoming

A fire ended the life of the eldest princess, and it was arranged between her tutor, the man she had loved for years, and her own younger brother. Up to that night she had held enough power at court to move the government. She comes back to an earlier point in her own life with all of it in her head. The tutor kneels to her now and takes her orders. A prince from the country the court counts as its enemy works for her out of sight, doing the things she cannot be seen doing. She spent the first life treating love as the thing to move around the board, and this time she works with power directly. The Empress has already decided she is a rival, and what the princess means to take back goes further than the throne.
