Synopsis

Gutter girl Laila is saved by six-winged Duke Alaric, who killed her mother years ago. She plots revenge but he protects her, teaches her, and she discovers her mother chose death and entrusted her to him. They fall for each other. His fiancée arrives, forcing Alaric to whip Laila. She survives, rallies the oppressed, and returns. After a final confrontation, they reconcile and build a new world.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
