A Love Good for Nothing

Do Dohye is thirty-nine and unmarried, and the fact that a man has been chasing her for six years has been quietly holding up her pride the whole time. She finally decides she may as well take him seriously, do the poor fool a kindness and actually date him. Then the wedding invitation arrives with his name on it and a bride he has known for three months. Love, she concludes, is good for nothing. She drinks on that conclusion and ends up spending the night with a man she runs into, who turns out to be the neighbor across the hall, the one she had written off as a loser because he cannot even sort his recycling properly. The next problem is at work. The company has a new editor-in-chief starting, and it is him.
