Professor Hwang takes what he likes from the graduate students under him, and Su-yeon is the one who never pushes back. She is also keeping something quiet. When she kisses someone she hears what is going on in their head. Her graduation thesis is a study on inducing emotion through kissing, which means test subjects, and she works with three, Minhyuk, who was her first love and never got resolved, Sejoon, an exchange student she argues with whenever they talk, and Siwoo, a friend who already knows what she can do. Real feelings come out of the experiment somewhere along the way. She picks up other things through the kissing. Research money is going somewhere it should not, figures in the lab data have been changed, and someone close to the work has been covering for it. The ability she has kept hidden is what she uses to get the proof.
