Synopsis

Derek Smith, a world-class tech genius, remains at Levy Corp out of gratitude to Kate Levy. He turns down top offers to develop the Vertexa AI system for Levy Corp at minimal pay. But when a dispute with a manager escalates, Kate sides with the manager and fires him. Backed by an investor, Derek starts his own company, which quickly overtakes Levy Corp. Kate regrets letting him go—but time cannot be rewound.

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
