Mia Bell's first love asks her for one thing: a wedding ceremony with him. She agrees, and pushes back her own wedding with Eric Dean to make room for it, telling herself that Eric will never find out. Eric has known from the beginning. He does not confront her about it. His parents have an arranged marriage waiting for him, and he tells them yes, and the date they set is the same day Mia has chosen for her wedding. Mia goes on believing she has managed the situation until word reaches her that Eric is actually marrying someone else, on that day, and that he had known what she was doing the whole time she was hiding it.
