When the Puppet Cuts the Strings

Alfred Roger is given a second run at his own life. In the first one he is the son of the richest man on Earth and has everything except the love of Haley Peck, his first crush. He marries her anyway. He does whatever she asks of him and gives her over $1 million a month to live on. Then a serious illness puts his life at risk, and he asks her for $100,000 to cover the treatment. She refuses. The doctors say he can still be saved and she tells them to stop treating him, and she begins arranging to sell his organs for money. She wants him dead so that she can be with the man she has loved all along. That man then tells Alfred that the two of them arranged his parents' car crash in order to take the Roger family's fortune. Alfred collapses when he hears it, and the second life starts from there.
