Checkmate, My Love

Despite her father's opposition, Jessica Peck insisted on marrying Frank Dixon, only to be betrayed by Frank and her half-sister, Callie Peck. The two conspired to ruin Jessica's family, leading to its downfall and leaving Jessica disfigured. With the help of Raylan Britt, who had always liked her, Jessica underwent two years of reconstructive surgery. She then returned to town as Raylan's sister, Peyton Britt, to seek revenge. Ultimately, Frank's true nature was exposed, and he was brought to justice by the police. Jessica accepted Raylan's confession, and the two began a new life together.
