Lies That Cost Lives

Dr. Qin Lang, a gynecologist, is supporting an abortion procedure at a women and children's hospital. To his shock, he discovers that the patient is his wife, Liu Mei. Unknown to him, Liu Mei had already cheated on him and fallen in love with another man. Heartbroken, Qin Lang confronts Liu Mei and files for divorce. Liu Mei readily agrees and chooses to be with her lover, unaware that he is only with her for her money. Ultimately, Liu Mei faces the consequences of her actions, being swindled out of all her possessions and accidentally causing her father's death. Filled with regret, she learns the hard way. Meanwhile, Qin Lang moves on from the shadow of the past and finds his own happiness.
