The Price of Glory

Rowan Lawson, the richest man in the world, saw a traffic accident on the news and recognised the injured couple as his godparents, Zach Cooper and Holly Shaw. He used what he had to get their son Sam made president of the hospital and honoured in the profession. Zach and Holly had been out on a three-wheeler on a holiday, taking mooncakes across town to Sam, when they ran into the car carrying the mayor of Skyville and his daughter. Holly called Sam, who was the best doctor in the city, and he came to the roadside. He treated the mayor and the mayor's daughter first, on the grounds that his career ran through the mayor, and his father was left without care through the hours that counted. Holly went to Sam afterwards about his father and he refused her. Rowan found out from that what Sam had done at the crash.
