Brides in Smoke

Ella and Leah have been close friends for years, and they marry brothers. Charles Harper is a firefighter and his brother Noah is a doctor. Neither marriage is a good one, and both women stay in them. On the third anniversary, the woman Charles was with before Ella locks Ella into a room that is on fire. Ella reaches Charles and asks him to come for her. He brushes it off and goes to look for his ex's cat, which has gone missing. Leah goes into the fire and gets Ella out, then phones Noah, because Ella is pregnant and needs a doctor. Noah makes a joke of it. The two friends decide to file for divorce from the Harper brothers together.
