War God's Redemption: A Father's Promise

The people around Wilma want the backing of a wealthy family, so they arrange for her to marry the family's patriarch, an old man in failing health, and they plan to put her daughter Xamira in an orphanage. Wilma is an actress and has raised Xamira alone for five years. The girl has a heart condition and cannot speak. Xamira's father is Xavi, the son the richest man in Atheron lost track of. He cleans at a hotel and tells fortunes by the bridge, and he is the War God of Atheron. He and Wilma had one night together five years ago. Wilma finds him and tells him Xamira is his, and he takes on the position of her father. On the wedding day Wilma is made to go through with the ceremony and Xamira is mistreated. Xavi learns what is happening and comes for the two of them.
