Love, not Lost to Memory

Seven years ago, on a night of heavy rain, Sandra gave birth to twins. In the delivery room her blood was taken from her by force to save José, the heir her husband's family had been waiting on. Carlos arrived later and found a body under a white sheet and a bloodstained amulet. Sandra lived. She came out of it without her voice and without her memory, and she has spent the seven years since raising her daughter Larissa on what she can pull out of rubbish. Larissa ends up in the same class as José. The children are set a composition about their mothers, and it turns into a fight. Sandra jumps from the building to protect Larissa and is badly injured. Larissa kneels in front of Carlos, the chief physician, and begs him: "Please save my mother."
