You've Got Male

Leila Reid wants a husband and a child. On his deathbed her grandfather had her promise to marry and have children. Leila owns a bookstore in town. She marries Eric, and minutes after the wedding he is in bed with another woman. She learns the marriage was a scheme to get at her money. The promise still stands as far as she is concerned, so she hires an escort called Mark and sleeps with him. Mark is Matthew Callaway, a billionaire who owns hotels, a friend of Eric's from way back and Leila's rival in business. Leila has no idea. She keeps seeing Mark at night. In the daytime she is across the table from Matthew as an opponent. Losses and other hardships pile up in her life, and her feelings for the two men get tangled. Once the double identity comes out, Matthew has to win her over a second time, as himself.
