When the Snow Stops — Vengeance Rises

Shen Chong spent his first life giving everything to his family. His adopted brother Shen Jingzhou put a crime on him that he had not committed and he served time for it, and his mother and sisters treated him with contempt for the disgrace. They cut him loose and he died carrying that. He is born again into the same life at an earlier point. This time, when Shen Jingzhou hits someone with a car and drives off, Shen Chong refuses to take the charge and lays out what actually happened. His mother and sisters do not believe him and work together to pin the accusation back on him anyway. He stops talking to them entirely and goes to work in radio, where he becomes known. The songs and writing his sisters have been making their reputation on came out of him in the first place, and as they piece that together the guilt gets into them and they start trying to get him back. He has no intention of being got back. At a major music awards ceremony he stands up and identifies every stolen piece in front of the industry.
