Flames of Vengeance: The Seraphim Sisters

Sheng Linglong and Sheng Liuli are twins. Twins were taken as a bad omen, so the two were separated as small children. Sheng Linglong left the family, took a master, and lived in the martial world. Years later, on her own strength, she became leader of the Tiansheng Sect and brought the whole martial world under it. Sheng Liuli stayed behind and caught the eye of the old emperor, who promised her in marriage to the reigning emperor, Qin Yuan. On the eve of the wedding someone arranged for mountain bandits to carry her off. She was assaulted and died. Sheng Linglong got word and hurried back. Over her sister's body she swore that she would go into the palace in Sheng Liuli's place and find the people who had arranged it.
