The Swan’s Last Secret

Rachel comes to Adrien with a request: her son Théo has leukemia and needs blood, and Adrien is the one who can give it. Adrien refuses to treat her kindly. Seven years earlier she had walked out on him after an accident left him badly injured, and he has taken that as betrayal ever since. Rachel had been a principal dancer. She was also seriously ill when she left, and she pretended to have stopped loving him so she could go. She raised Théo alone and told no one why. Adrien meets her with suspicion and treats her harshly for a betrayal that never happened. A paternity test is tampered with. Valérie sets one trap after another for Rachel and the boy, and the bad feeling between Rachel and Adrien deepens. The test result is eventually exposed as false and Théo is confirmed to be Adrien's son. By then Rachel's own illness has gone on a long time.
