The Ace Attorney’s Masked Secret

At a masked ball, nobody knows who anybody is. Madeline, a lawyer, met the billionaire heir Nicholas at one, and their daughter Isla was born from that night. Because neither of them saw the other's face, Madeline's half-sister Vivienne was able to steal the token from that night and claim to be the woman Nicholas had been with. Vivienne brought her own son into the family with her, going after the money and the position. Madeline raised Isla alone for six years. She then takes a job at Nicholas's company and the two of them are thrown together again. Old feeling returns, and so do the lies. Vivienne keeps up the impersonation, sets traps at the office, and enemies press in from outside. A rare inherited illness and a birthmark that Isla and Nicholas share start pointing at who the girl's parents are.
