Renee's husband Ethan prefers her sister Kira, and the marriage has left Renee without intimacy and with a private condition she is ashamed of. She goes looking for medical help and finds Damian, a doctor who is willing to treat her and who talks with her about a childhood she has not discussed with anyone.
