No More Sacrifice, I Stand Alone in Glory

Jiang Wan is an interior designer. She married Gu Minghui with nothing to her name and spent three years running the household and earning for it, and his relatives treated her as a source of money and labor. She learns he is seeing another woman, and that he and his family have arranged to have her killed so her assets pass to them. Gu Minghui crashes her car one night. His mother, believing the woman in the wreck was Jiang Wan, phones the hospital and tells them to stop treatment and send the body to be cremated. Jiang Wan is alive.
