The Heir Behind the Apron

Adrian Ward's girlfriend Claire Mason wanted a restaurant of her own. Adrian is the heir to one of the largest fortunes in the country, and he said nothing about it. He apprenticed under a master chef, put the place together from nothing, and kept working the kitchen. The heiress Vivian Blake offered him $150 million to come work for her and he turned it down. The restaurant took off online. Claire began telling people the credit belonged to the chef Ryan Slade, and she and Ryan grew close in front of him. Adrian ended the relationship and left. Only afterward did the people around them work out who had actually built the business. Claire wanted him back and asked for it from above, still speaking to him the way she had. Then she found out what family he came from. By that point Adrian had finished with her and was ready to answer the interest Vivian had been showing him. Claire and Ryan are left to face everyone who now knows what happened.
