Synopsis

Blind Lily enters a mutant zoo that can restore sight. Her mother Claire follows, and the zoo forces her to confess the truth: she caused Lily's blindness by a medication error three years ago. Lily knew all along. The zoo trades Lily's sight for Claire's confessions and physical costs. Claire turns into a beast, but Lily recognizes her by touch and leads her through the gate. The price resets; they return to human life.

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
