She has the face for it and works a bar, bringing men back, and she has lost every man this way. Elliot goes to Vine like the others did. Charlie is a young heir Lovett once pulled out of a fatal situation, cold and arrogant, and he comes back into her life at the point where the family is lining her up for another round. He carries blood of his own that he does not talk about, and he is willing to give it up for her. Lovett decides to break the family's curse herself rather than keep working as the lure.
