The Offshore Game

Synopsis

Maxie has a sister, Stella, and it is finding Stella in trouble that pulls her back into a fight she had walked away from. Years before, Maxie went to Dongying to sit down at a gambling table, meaning to win back a national treasure called the Snakehead. Sato set her up. She faked her own death to get out alive. Five years later she walks into the casino again and finds Stella cornered there. To get her sister out and to take the Snakehead back, she starts a run of games against Sato with her life on the table.

You Are My Antidote

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

You Are My Antidote

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
