The Mad Heiress Strikes Back

The Lu family fortune passed to Sienna Harper's mother, and when her mother died, ninety percent of the family assets came to Sienna. Her father wanted that money. He, her stepmother, and her half-sister had her committed to a psychiatric hospital, and she stayed there three years. The place was violent and she learned to fight in it. She came out hard. Sienna learned her stepsister was to marry Julian, heir to the Payne family, in her place. She brought other patients from the hospital with her to the wedding, walked in, and laid out what her stepsister actually was. Then she offered Julian a deal: the ninety percent she held, in exchange for a marriage. On paper they are married by contract. Sienna takes back what her mother left her and is not gentle about it. Julian uses her reach to collect evidence against his uncle, who killed his parents. There are kidnappings, and each of them gets the other out. Between them they bring down both families. Afterward Julian tells her he has been in love with her since school, and shows her a cherry blossom keychain he kept all those years. They go back to the running track at their old school.
