From a Broken Boat to a Sea King

Gus Shaw has gambling debts, and the arrangement he makes to clear them is to sell his daughter. His son Hanson wakes up in 1983 on the day it is being settled, with the memory of a life he has already been through once. Hanson cuts his father off and takes his mother and sister out of the house. What is left to them is the grandfather's old fishing boat, so he takes it out. He is good at the work and brings in sharks and bluefin tuna, and the money comes in fast. Toni Jensen is back in the fishing village from studying abroad. She and Hanson start seeing each other, and her family, which has money, will not have it. Gus keeps coming at his son through all of this, and at one point he puts a hole in the boat.
