The Divine Spark Ignites

Among the Gifted, families are fighting one another for power, the Lestrange family has held a secret down for years, and hostile forces are pressing in from outside. All of it comes to rest on Connor, who was abandoned as a child and grew up alone among ordinary humans, hiding an electromagnetic ability he could not fully control. An accident sets it off in front of people, and there is no going back to the life he had. He leaves for Starfall Town with a pendant his mother left him, to look at the academy there for family members who went missing. In Starfall he saves Kane, the Lestrange heir, and finds that he himself is tied to the Lestrange family and to the Gifted. He had been labelled a Null, someone with nothing in him, and now a dark matter ability is beginning to wake alongside the first one.
