Synopsis

Vivian, the duke’s only daughter, was ordered by the King to marry Richard. At the wedding, Richard manipulated a young boy to falsely claim Vivian had multiple miscarriages to ruin her reputation. Richard had an affair with his cousin Emily and shared an illegitimate child. He used a pardon medal to threaten Vivian, while old Duke forced her maid to bear false witness against her. General Arthur, commander of the Northern Legion, arrived with troops to protect Vivian.
