Rebirth of the Sculptor

Renaton is the real son of the Zanders family and grows up as though he were nobody in it. His parents, Zanders and Harriet, give him insults and neglect and put everything they have into Michael, the boy they adopted. Michael ends up with what should have been Renaton's, including his fiancée. Renaton is recommended for a place at the Tsinghua Academy of Arts. Michael, jealous, tries to poison him, and Zanders and Harriet swallow the poison by mistake. Zanders learns that Michael did it and decides to put the blame on Renaton anyway. Renaton serves eight years in prison. He comes out finished with the family and goes back to sculpture, which he was always good at. Rose, a sculptor of international standing, sees the work and gets in touch with him, and he goes to Italy with her. A year later he returns under a new name, known in the sculpture world, and comes back to the house he grew up in. He tells the family what Michael is: the son of Zanders and his mistress, which Harriet never knew, so that the family spent its years on another woman's child while ignoring its own.
