A Shot of Love

Wynne Scott drinks the way other people breathe. She goes along to a job interview to keep her best friend company, and the friend is turned down while Wynne is hired. She signs the contract before reading it properly and finds out afterward that the post is personal assistant and contract mistress at once. Her employer is Jared Grant, and Wynne tells him straight out that the only thing she is good at is drinking. Grant is severely allergic to alcohol, and he laughs and tells her the job is simple: make sure not one drop ever reaches him. The two of them settle into a long tug of war.
