From Trash to Throne

Ethan wanted to be treated as his parents' son. He had gone missing as a boy, and while he was gone his parents adopted another child, Jeremy, to make up for the loss. After Ethan was found and brought home the family still preferred Jeremy. Jeremy set fire to a building, and the family put the blame on Ethan and made him carry it. Ethan served ten years for the arson. His fiancée dropped him during that time. He came out and stopped trying to be taken back by them, counting down the days until he was free of the household. A wealthy couple took him in and backed him, and he returned to face the family that had handed him over.
