Betrayed by Love

The Geller Group passes down to a single heir, and Jasmine Geller is the one it goes to. A dispute over money turns her friend Lily Hill against her, and Lily's plan for getting paid is to get hold of explicit photos of Jasmine and sell them. Jasmine knocks out one of the men holding her and gets to a phone. She calls her husband, Alan Hall, who hangs up on her. Lily's people pick her up again and keep her watched. Alan does come for her, and before he reaches them Lily has herself tied up so that it looks like Jasmine's doing. He believes her. Jasmine has no way to answer it. At the hospital, Lily waits for a stretch when Alan is not there and sets up the next one, and Jasmine walks into that as well. Alan wants less and less to do with her. Lily keeps working at getting the two of them apart, and somewhere in it Alan starts to notice that what Lily is after does not stop at Jasmine.
