Synopsis

Anna Goodwin is married to Daniel Foster, and Daniel has leukemia. Anna learns that her own bone marrow is a full match for him and goes home glad to tell him. Daniel gets the wrong end of what she says and comes away believing that Anna is the one with the disease. He divorces her without a second thought, brings his mistress Vivian Lane, who is pregnant, into the house, and makes Anna wait on the two of them. Only once the divorce certificate is in his hand does he learn that the patient was him all along. He kneels in front of his ex-wife and asks her to donate her marrow.
