A young magistrate of the capital is sent to catch a woman who has come back from the underworld to settle scores, and he ends up forced to serve as her bodyguard. Somewhere in that arrangement the two of them fall in love. She had been the legitimate daughter of a noble house. The night before her wedding her own relatives buried her alive so they could steal her destiny for themselves.
