Her Haunting Love

Donna Jones and Brian Turner were together for three years. Brian died saving her life. His soul could not pass on to the next life because of how tightly it was still bound to her. An abbot said there was one way to free it: Donna would have to fall in love with another man, and Brian would have to see her die for that love with his own eyes. Donna began pretending she could not see his ghost. She went after Brandon Fisher, the heir of a wealthy family, and spent the next five years at his side, going so far as to humiliate herself for him, with Brian's ghost following her through all of it. At the end of the five years Donna took a knife that was meant for Brandon.
