Synopsis

Demon hunter Wendy abandons her sect to marry a poor scholar, only to be cast aside when his success brings another woman into their home. The newcomer is a skin-stealing demon, and Wendy's husband wounds her rather than believe the wife who sacrificed everything for him. Back with her master and senior fellow disciple, Wendy rebuilds her powers before the demon unleashes a soul-devouring formation that draws her into one last battle with both monster and past love.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.

The plot is hard to follow and never really comes together. With all the flashbacks and dream sequences, the pacing has no tension at all…
