If Love Could Start Over

Mary Kane and Karen Jones were cousins who grew up together. They sat for arranged introductions on the same day and married in the same season. Mary's husband went into business and became a company director. Karen's husband died while she was still young, and she got by on very little after that. At a housewarming banquet in Mary's new home, Karen killed her and then took her own life. Both of them woke up twenty years earlier, on the day of the introductions, in front of the men they had married the first time. This time each of them took the other's match. The man Mary ended up with also became a company director, and his attachment was to her. Karen made several attempts on Mary over the years that followed and none of them came off. She then set about getting back to the day of the introductions a second time.
