The Wrong Bride Died for Lies

In the life before this one, Yvonne and her best friend both died on her wedding day, in the course of a wedding prank set up by the groom's family and by the rich man Vikram. She comes back a few hours before it happens. She sends her friend away and gets word to her uncle. The room she was meant to be put in still has a trap waiting in it, and her sister-in-law Jessica walks in by mistake; Vikram takes her for the friend and assaults her. The family thinks the woman in the room was an outsider, so they shut Yvonne up, keep the whole thing quiet, and press her to sign a statement giving up any claim. She is pregnant and does not tell them. She keeps saying who is actually in that room and no one listens. Her uncle is on his way with people, and her friend, whom they believe was the victim, is about to walk in unharmed.
