Her Evil Facade

Lin Xingyue wakes up inside an obsessive romance novel, in the body of the cruel supporting character. A system gives her one way home. She has to break the male lead, Jiang Jin, a soft young man who does as he is told, until he is paranoid, and then she can go back to the real world. What she does not know is that Jiang Jin reads minds. The first time she raises her voice at him he hears the thinking behind it, and after that he knows the gentleness underneath is the real part of her. She keeps up the abuse anyway, because the system punishes her if she stops, and in between she protects him wherever she can without being seen doing it. Jiang Jin plays his half of the act for her, and falls further in love with her the longer it runs.
